Peterborough Inn & Suites Hotel

"Nestled in the heart of downtown Peterborough, this place is decent for what you're paying for. The rooms we stayed in (king bed w/ jaccuzi) was awkwardly laid out, but aside from tearing the building down what can you do. The room was clean, although some lamps weren't working. Breakfast was kind of a joke (cereal, fruit, or bread items) but the staff were great and helpful, parking wasn't overly difficult for a downtown hotel with no dedicated garage, and the shops/restaurants are all within minutes (and they are good). TV (27inch) is located across the entire room, and the remote doesn't control the whole unit (only channels) and the A/C is a window unit right beside the bed which overpowers the TV volume."

"Everything was perfect no kids running up and down the hall, staff was very helpful and friendly breakfast was very good could have bacon more often than sausage the eggs were good the coffee was to die for every morning pool was lukewarm which was certainly better than my last 2 trips in Ontario, Kelsey’s beside the hotel was fantastic you could drink pretty hardy and it had my favourite beer on draft"

"Room was clean and well appointed Bathroom was clean, but a bit run down, while showering it was clear the water supply was shared as the water would go cold for several seconds several times. Close to highway (but no noise) and easy to get into town"

"We enjoy staying at this location however twice now on Saturday mornings the woman who serves breakfast is incredibly intrusive. I understand shes working hard and trying to do a good job however when the serving area is packed shes constantly inserting herself asking people to move so she can restock items that are already sufficiently stocked, invading space to spray the waffle iron, wipe down tables people are still sitting at, face yogurts etc. It's extremely off putting and makes eating breakfast uncomfortable as a guest. She constantly hovers and watches and someone needs to remind this woman to give guests space while they are eating."
