"This is a lovely hotel, excellent in every way except one disappointing aspect. The main restaurant which covers breakfast - good and dinner which is not good. Breakfast was well set up, plenty of food choice and organised, staff were busy, efficient and friendly, but the dinner service was not an enjoyable part of our stay. The staff were not enjoying their work, it felt like they wanted us to eat quickly and go - our main course arrived just before we had finished our starters, the food was ok. It would also be more enjoyable if the dining area was more welcoming, it was like a canteen, ok for breakfast but it might attract more business if lighting wasn’t so bright. We opted for simple room service the following evening, because we both felt that the dining room experience offered in the à la carte restaurant was not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel. The staff in the rest of the hotel couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Our room had been upgraded, it was very well appointed and comfortable. The pool bar which serves food as well is a much more enjoyable experience and the pool areas were beautifully kept, definitely a special place."

"Staff and owner is amazing!! She accommodated an extra person to our room a few days before. Rooms are spacious. Everything has been revamped. Only point for improvement is the actual pools themselves need refurbing and a slightly better breakfast selection. Other than that great location on beach front and close to restaurants and supermarkets. And just far enough from the craziness of the strip. Family run hotel for families!! Amazing!! Owner and her mum are so lovely!!"

"Penny and her family are excellent hosts. They prioritise the guests and we felt very at home. The atmosphere is relaxed. I loved the background music at breakfast and by the pool. We were in the annex, the view was amazing, we watched sail boats go by from our veranda.The Friday night greek night was great fun well worth booking. The hotel is in a quiet area and is less than a 10 minute walk into Kavos so great to be away from the noise. My son praised the night manager who was very friendy and helpful. I'd highly recommend this hotel."

"Amazing hotel. Can’t fault the staff, entertainment and hotel facilities it self were great. Only thing I would comment on is - cleaning the rooms properly/deep clean - a lot of the furniture in bathroom area was dusty - especially the metal grill area near the sink. "We had a great stay at the Olympion Village hotel. With the price that we paid we got really great value for money. Staff were always friendly and happy to help. Andreas, the bar man, took great care of us, even making an off-menu ouzo cocktail for us to try. Every time we went past the bar he was talking to someone and always made an effort to greet guests. We were half board and breakfast/dinner was perfect for us. Breakfast had all the hot and cold options you would usually expect, and dinner was a little different every night (both buffet style). During the day food is available to buy at the bar, the club sandwiches were our favourite! The room was great, we paid for an upgraded double room which had a balcony facing the pool and you could see over to the sea as well. The bed looked like two singles put together so it was very spacious. The air conditioning was really good, kept us cool all week. For the most part the room was clean and it was serviced daily, we did notice ants coming from the walls but not the end of the world. The pool was great with plenty of sun beds and parasols available everyday. The edge of the pool where the overflow was looked like it needed a bit of a scrub (black mold/ dirt). Worth bearing in mind that Kavos is a party destination for many, this hotel is away from the action but close enough to walk down to shops and beach during the day. It was very peaceful compared to the main strip. Thank you for a lovely holiday!"

"The room was clean and good for the price. The air conditioning was a little bit weak given how hot it was but not a major problem. The only downsides were that there were quite a few extra charges in terms of evening entertainment, sun beds in the hotel and (refundable) for towels, which all required cash which we didn't have enough of, but staff were lovely and quite flexible. We were half-board and the food was decent."
