"Charming location, great views, friendly staff. The kitchen doesn’t have anything in it except for drinking glasses. There are no utensils or anything to make even a simple thing like guacamole. There is a coffee maker. Wine glasses are there as are drinking glasses and coffee cups. Complementary coffee in the room. There is a fridge. No microwave. Rooms are comfortable, bedding, clean, mattresses are fantastic. We enjoyed our time here. excellent launching point for other activities."

During my stay in Costa Rica, I stayed at another more expensive property but did not find the same warmth and enjoyment. "What a beautiful property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hot springs (which stay open until about 3am), the views of the Arenal Volcano, the room amenities, the tasty (& varied breakfasts), the helpful staff, the views from our porch.... I could go on! Staf were helpful organising tours and we really liked how there was a coffee & tea station in reception as well as in the rooms. We also enjoyed our dinner at the on-site restaurant Surá. Highly recommended"

"The villa has some positives, including parking right in front of the room and a pleasant breakfast setting. However, several issues significantly affected our stay. The room had insects, the bathroom was not well maintained and did not feel clean, and the bedding was uncomfortable. There was also no water one evening, which was very inconvenient. Service was slow, and there was a billing error at checkout. "
