Booked for a work trip. I think the pictures online were a little misleading as my room was very basic. Having said that, immaculately clean. I didn’t use the pool, but secure parking was a benefit. Check location when booking as right in the centre of Katherine. If you’re looking for something quieter then maybe look a bit further out. Overall, for one night it was ok. Do remember to check your emails though as no staff on reception and complete check in/out is via a code and safe box on entrance.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay here. The host and other guests were very friendly. We were able to check in early and check out late (quiet time of the year I think) which really helped us out. It felt very safe with locked doors between the street and the hotel common areas. The pool was huge and clean, with deck chairs around. The room itself was quiet, clean and comfortable, with microwave and toaster that worked well. The laundry facilities were added cost (use $1 coins only) but were open all hours which was convenient. Would stay here again :)

The staff was wonderful. Actually there qas was only one housemaid who did the work of MANY. Rooms extremely clean. Being a bit weighty, the towels were BIG., Most places you stay at have towels that just fit "normal" size. I have never stayed in a pkace with a tv that had sooooo many choices of movies. The bottle shop and a very decent cafe were in walking distance. I didn't go in the pool, but i watched, they cleaned the pool every morning. Yes,, if ever I get the chance to visit Katherine NT Australia, I will stay at the Stuart hotel.

We worried about security as carrying a trailer with work equipment; place was secure with locked gate. Nice refreshing pool, very clean unit and comfortable bed! Our room hadn’t been used for a bit as the dishes were a bit dusty but easy enough to clean. Didn’t have any contact with staff (so marked average 3stars as couldn’t comment) apart from online but did meet the lovely owners who were visiting from Victoria (same as us!)

The premises could do with a bit of love and care. The loud bar next door was initially disconcerting, but it was quiet by 4pm and all night. Good facilities in the room. Well located. A pity the smokers aren't banished to a point where they are not sharing their smoke with all the rooms. Could not open the windows due to that. Basically a satisfactory stay, good for the price.

Breakfast was included in the price but unfortunately had to walk 3 blocks away to another Hotel. Manager was kind enough to let us use the room until later in the day as we had to wait for the bus, and there was nowhere in Katherine to store lugguage.

The cleanliness of the room was ok but the air conditioning was placed in the worst location in the room possible, right at the back with the bed being behind a thick wall that ran the length of the bed. AC also didn’t work very well so wasn’t a comfortable night sleep. Pool was ok but BBQ area was pretty dirty with obvious food leftovers on the grills and ants covering everything.
