"Beautiful character hotel in an amazing position overlooking the river. Steps away from the Old town with an array of bars and restaurants. Room was slightly too warm and we couldn’t adjust it. The hotel was spotlessly clean in all area. The room was replenished with mineral water, tea and coffee every day. Spacious room. Our room overlooked the river which was stunning. "

"Very clean hotel, staff were mainly friendly except for one grumpy / rude lady who was on reception at the spa. The pool area is lovely but can get noisy and busy. All in all we would definitely return. "

"Beautiful hotel. Second stay here. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room clean, spacious and comfortable. For the second time however we found the bar staff decidedly unhelpful. We returned to the hotel at around 9.30pm and were able to order one drink before being told the bar was closing. The following evening, different bar staff were curt and borderline rude. It seems they decide at what time the bar/restaurant closed. There were no signs stating closing times. It’s the first time as a hotel resident I have been unable to relax with a drink before 10.00pm. Lovely hotel but the experience in the bar would stop me returning here. Such a shame"
