The rooms are well appointed and have all the usual facilities. The lounge bar facing the street provides a location to watch the world go by. It appears to also be a regular place for locals.

I'm not a hotel snob, and thought this was a very clean hotel but there were minor things like the way things were fixed were slabbed with caulking or not straight. "Sadly the standard of bedroom did not live up to the plush reception area, with a shower that leaked heavily flooding the bathroom, poor quality towels, basic beds and bedding, old war robes and simple furnishing.
The food offered catered to the locals with overseas offered no alternatives unless a premium price was paid.
The staff were on the whole excellent and tried very hard to assist but the core business of hosting weddings at the hotel seemed to take preference.
