Stoney Creek Hotel Kansas City - Independence
The room was clean and the pool was nice although i didn’t use it very long as the smell of chlorine was overbearing. The breakfast was nearby our room and smelled like something got burnt through out the hallways . The view is nice outside the hotel area . I wish there were more food options available ...

Kansas City Marriott Country Club Plaza
It's very near the shopping district of the Country Club Plaza, right on the free streetcar line, just a few blocks from the two major art museums. You can't find a better location. Parking involves a parking garage and costs $30 a day.
