The island features a diverse and scenic coastline, dotted with rugged cliffs, protected coves and breathtaking geological landmarks. Hit the surf at Vivonne Bay and Pennington Bay. Play in the rock pools at Stokes Bay and relax on the sand at Nepean Bay. Try fishing and kayaking along the American and Chapman rivers. Antechamber Bay is a lush haven with a lagoon and sand dunes. At D’Estrees Bay, dive among shipwrecks and see majestic sea dragons, harlequin fish and brightly coloured coral.

Venture into the island’s interior to find tranquil native Australian wilderness and conservation areas. Kelly Hill Conservation Park features impressive caves. The room was clean and well-kept, with a great location just steps from the beach and restaurants. However, street noise was noticeable—people talking outside could be heard clearly, as the window was close to the sidewalk.
