"The check in process / procedure was time consuming and fiddly - that really needs sorting out, or if it cannot be sorted out easily, go back to having a reception desk! Sometimes messages to the host were replied to quickly, other times replies took ages. With the temperature for the last couple of nights it is worth noting that the apparent does not have air conditioning, there was a fan which was useful. The apartment had everything that we expected. There was confusion with luggage lockers at check out, and we were given a code to a locker that already had somone else's bag in it - something else that probably wouldn't have happened if there was a reception desk."

"I love staying at this hotel. Today was the first time I tried the to-go breakfast. I wasn’t impressed. It cost the same as the amazing breakfast they have but this was not good. I will not order it again. Otherwise everything is excellent."

"A good budget-friendly option in an original Art Nouveau building. The rooms and amenities are not top-notch anymore, but everything is functional and the staff was utmost friendly and helpful. A refrigerator in the room and an electric kettle on loan from the reception were an additional advantage. We didn't miss breakfast as there are very nice coffee shops in the Stabu iela nearby."
