"I stayed in Diamond Athuruga in late October with my family. This is a small island and it is perfect if you wish to have a quiet week or two of rest. We loved the food, the beaches and the people working there. "This island is beautiful with plenty of beach.We chose this resort because we enjoy snorkelling and we like a la carte dining. When we arrived we were told we couldn't have a la carte dining until our third night as the restaurants were fully booked. There was no comparison eating at the buffet to the a la carte restaurants and although the rooms were fantastic, the snorkelling ok we would not go back as we don't want to end up with buffet food.
