"Beautiful setting. I was a bit confused about advertised lake who is actually not on the property and holds little for guests. Pool area was wonderful very quiet with trees and birds. Heinz was most helpful in sugges outings and arranging driver. A few niggles: Breakfasts like all in Sri Lanka could use some tweaking with toast presented first to go cold and items not offered but available such as tomatoes or bacon: readily provided when requested. "The hotel is average. Rooms are clean and spacious. Amenities are good. What I didn’t like is the breakfast dining hall which is open from all sides and flies are roaming around. The butter was left open which should have been covered to ensure hygiene. Lots need to be improved."

"We weren't happy with our accommodation at first but after we expressed our disappointment to the Manager, he was very accommodating and offered us another room. Throughout our stay, his service and the staff has been very accommodating. The environment of the hotel was comfortable and the breakfast and dinner served at the hotel were delicious too. The only downside is how outdated the rooms and facilities were. If only the owner and upper management would upgrade, I would go back to stay...
