Top Kananaskis Hotel Reviews

Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino

Stoney Nakoda Resort & Casino

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed here for a week, while touring Banff and I’m so happy we did. First, the staff is amazing! Super friendly and helpful. Second, the room was nice, clean and comfortable and very quiet for a large hotel. The beds were comfortable, the shower had great heat and water pressure. Out the window was a fantastic view of the mountains! The property is home to wild horses which frequent the parking lot and hotel grounds and absolutely beautiful (just be careful if you are returning at night they do cross the roads and parking lot). There are also several really sweet reservation dogs that roam around they don’t bother anyone they just go about their business but it’s a really cool place! Finally we are so thankful we stayed there. Yes it’s a bit of a drive into Canmore or Banff but after visiting both those towns they are jam packed with people, cars and buildings. We go to these remote places to get away from people and these towns are insanely crammed together. Staying at Stoney Nakoda is actually laid back, less crowded and really comfortable! We are super glad we stayed here!"
