"We had an amazing time staying at Il Mare Surfhotel Wacasa. We were greeted by the owner who immediately sat us down on the patio overlooking the water and brought us peach sodas and our choice of popsicles! "It's a great location away from the busy life of the city. The lake is crystal clear and great to swim in though we did not see other swimmers. The rooms are small, yet suffice. I'll probably come back again. "

"周囲に食事出来る施設がほとんどないのに、食事の提供がない。自転車で琵琶湖一周していたが、朝食が出ないのでおにぎりを買うために自転車往復6.6km走らざるをえなかった。また自転車で近くの気軽に夕食が食べれる所は１軒しかない。更に普通の宿ならあると思っていたタオルや浴衣の提供がないのも驚いた。"

"This was the accommodation we looked most forward to on our Japan trip, and it did not disappoint. It was very beautiful and cozy. Well renovated old traditional house. Spacious living room downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. There is all you need to cook and wash. We ordered half pension, which is highly recommended. Great local food. The breakfast you cook yourself after a easy to follow instruction. I would love to come back for more than pone night. "

"This is a very local non touristy village. We enjoyed the hospitality (even if we couldn’t communicate) The owner helped accomadate my sea food allergy. We really liked the hot bath available in the beautiful water. The only thing I would say is that it isn’t close to anything and you have to walk about 22 minutes to the train "

"全体的に良かった。特にキッチン周りの充実(ホームベーカリーやバリスタ、冷蔵庫のデカさ、食器の清潔さ、などなど)や本格的なバレルサウナ、家具などは満足。 一方、チェックイン16時からなので、1泊2日の場合初日は十分にサウナを満喫できず、15時だと嬉しいところ。チェックアウトが11時なので翌日に楽しめたが、できれば時間を気にせず初日に楽しみたい。"
