"A beautiful setting with wonderful staff, even if one or two lacked attentiveness. The bamboo bungalow was beautiful. The bed and beddings were 5/5; very comfortable. Unfortunately, the accolades stop there. Because the "retreat" is so remote, there are no other eating options nearby so guests have to rely on the hotel restaurant. As good as the food was (save for the cold soups), the options were very limited. This was unacceptable given we were the only guests and the menu was not extensive at...

"Excellent overall experience. The level of service was very high, comfortable and well appointed seperate bungalows set in a beautiful tropical garden. Staff super friendly , always kind and helpful . Great on site restaurant, tasty , thoughtful and generous menu. Breakfast was included in my booking, and it was superb. Highly recommend this place ! "An all around great experience. We were there during the rainy season, so while we didn’t see a lot of sun, there was a lot to keep us happy: terrific food, especially the breakfasts, lovely staff, and loads of activities to keep us busy. Really recommend the trip to the waterfalls as well as the sustainability tour around the plantation. A perfect example of how well they take care of their guests was when we had to have our dehumidifier replaced because it wasn’t working. It was done very promptly and to make up for the inconvenience (and it really was hardly an inconvenience at all!) they gave us a voucher for both of us to have a full Balinese massage which was heavenly. Can’t recommend Munduk Moding Plantation enough. "

Barely a trickle and difficult to get it warm. There was also significant mold issues even with the great cleaning. I’m sure mostly due to the warm moist climate "

"The place and the resort are amazing, but the main drawback is that the toilet is located outside the room in an open space. This setup is particularly inconvenient at night. Similarly, the shower is also in an open area, which adds to the discomfort. Dinner is served in very small portions—especially the rice, which was limited to just two tablespoons. Aside from these issues, the location itself is lovely."

"What can l say about our stay here. It a bit of a way to walk into the town. The path were different . Taxi a bit hard to find. But saying all of that was it worth it YES YES YES. Now about the Hotel well it was wonderful. It only small but perfect just on the beach, The room we had massive beautiful view. They serve breakfast which was great. Can do Food as well, well cooked. Now for the best stuff the Staff you could not asked for a more friendly group of People. Mega is wonderful hostess the staff could not do enough for us. Would we go Back in a heart beat. We paid for bigger hotel on this holiday. Out of the three this was the best. Thank you all for everything. Missing you all "
