The people around the area are a sketchy. The hotel itself was very quiet and I liked the breakfast waffle maker.

Over all it was ok just the rooms were small and the TV was old, the ac didn't work appropriately and the door to the closet was so difficult to open. But it was so convenient for getting to Kalamazoo College that's the only thing I love about it.

Had an event in town and this was the most affordable option. Was pleasantly surprised. Normal hotel wear and tear, but excellent location and good price. Will likely stay here for future events.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms and facilities were quite clean. It was close to the university where I was visiting. The breakfast was also quite good. I will be returning.

The faucet leaked while running, which was a minor annoyance and the access panel to the AC/Heater was broken, making it difficult to access the controls. Aside from this the room was comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good, though they could probally use another waffle iron, as it was in use non stop.

it was a good location and close to the Waldo Stadium for football, They are doing construction at the hotel which is no big deal, The rooms are ok for a nights stay, On the backside of the property a car kept revving its motor up early morning. Will stay there again if avalible.

Honestly not a bad place to stay. We stayed on a Monday and Tuesday night. It was very quiet (hotel was empty Monday, but quite full Tuesday), and clean. The refrigerator was a little iffy, but I was able to defrost it and get it going. I'd definitely stay again.

The staff was amazingly helpful with several special requests. The hotel was clean and the rooms were comfortable. There was a fair amount of street noise from our front of the hotel rooms. It seems like the property is not in the greatest neighborhood but we were never concerned about safety.

No curb appeal. I would think the place was Vacant. Weeds everywhere. No toilet lid, Cracked loose tile in the bathroom. Bathtub did not drain - that’s just disgusting. Hairdryer didn’t work. Tea packets were used on the dresser (that looked like it was a garage sale find) to level the dresser and also to keep a drawer from sliding open. Not the cleanest room. Lampshade was obviously ignored for years. There was what looked To be dry blood on the floor and drapes. The good thing was the location to downtown. Walking distance.
