AC works well, pools is huge, town has many dining options. The town is larger with more options than Kalistari. Two routes up to the monasteries exist- one that drives through Kalabaka and then Kalasraki and the other that goes in the other direction from Kalabaka- take both as it is a circle trip ideally. "
