"A very nice hotel but room for improvement. Breakfast was OK but let down by the concealed baked beans, and long standing rubbery eggs. It seems they were left out from start of service. On the last morning bacon was hardly cooked and sausages looked anemic. The poor breakfast didn't encourage me to book an evening meal. Tried to ring reception one evening. Unanswered during several attempts over a 30 minute period one evening. Other guests dogs barked for 1.5hrs one night. Not hotels fault but dog owning guests need to be encouraged to be responsible for their dogs. All fairly minor issues and we did enjoy our stay."

"The Manor House is a lovely place to say in Peel, and Matt looked after us wonderfully. We needed baggage storage on arrival and departure and this was easily arranged. Breakfast was first rate. The Manor House itself is gracious and relaxing. It's a ten minute walk into the town centre. We arrived from Douglas by bus and there is a bus stop just outside the Manor House. Peel is a great place to stay on the island, with good history, scenery, walks and restaurants."
