"I believe we were given an upgrade. The top floor room was very spacious and beautifully appointed. The complementary wine split was very appreciated. The small village is easy to navigate and the hotel is easy to find. Breakfast is served at your table buffet style; pick what you want. You can also order hot items. The restaurant in the evening is prepared by a Michellin veteran chef."

"This 15 century hotel/restaurant is wonderfully renovated. Restaurant is closed on our date of arrival, and front desk older gentleman used Google Translate and send us to a Mich. recommended restaurant in town of Haro only 12 min away and dinner experience turn out great. Bkft from 9-10 am was excellent even w fresh squeezed orange juice. "

"The hotel is very charming and clean.it was built in the 17th century. The staff could not have been more welcoming. The hotel is in a tiny magical town, Briñas, a 7 minute drive to Haro. It’s surrounded by a beautiful river with a path to Haro. There are at least two restaurants within walking distance of hotel. It was a great base to explore the La Rioja area. Breakfast for 12, EUR was good - eggs and coffee made to order. We visited from May 7th to the 12th. It was very quiet. Parking was free and safe, very close to hotel."

"Wow! This hotel was beautiful!! In a beautiful location along the river. Rooms were super clean and comfortable. Modern and updated. They had a wonderful breakfast in a beautiful room. And, dinner was also very good! Right in the middle of wine country. Would 100% recommend this hotel and we wish we could have stayed longer! Staff was awesome!"

"This property was perfect for our short stay in La Rioja & is conveniently located. We had a really enjoyable stay. We would definitely recommend this property as long as you don't have lots of luggage as getting your car close for loading/unloading is a bit tricky. Having said that the free parking is 5 or 10 minutes walk and we had no problems using it."
