"The property has been renovated and the rooms are modern with wood accents and back lighting. The shower felt so good, especially after a full travel day. Absolutely loved the room. Very clean. The staff and manager were great. We had a sea view and enjoyed stepping out onto the balcony for the amazing view. Highly recommend. "

"The Baranof is a beautiful old hotel at a nice location in the middle of Old Town Juneau. Given that it is a historic place, it feels a bit worn and could use a little freshening up. The service was friendly and helpful. Dining was only in the bar, but the food was good. We had a nice view from our window. The only slight problem was some very loud music from the open-air pub next door on Friday night, but they didn't go on too long. "
