"Really enjoyed staying here in the past, however the last 2 stays I was unable to contact the hotel for a ride from the airport. Had to get an Uber both times. That can add up in Juneau even though it is a short distance."
"Overall, a really pleasant stay in a suite on the 2nd floor. I was on the side looking toward the whale sculpture and away from the bridge, so traffic noise was minimal. The suite was nice and spacious with a full kitchen & living area, felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room.
The kitchen was minimally stocked with essentials, but I'd be sure and bring butter, salt and pepper if I were staying again.
Few little things could have been better... there was a broom but no dustpan, the kitchen hood fan didn't work, pots and pans have seen better days, no hangers in the closet, no dish soap or sponge for the sink, batteries were missing from the TV remote, no USB plugins on any outlet or at the desk or night stand, but these are just details. Front desk staff was responsive to requests and fixed what was fixable.
I'd still stay here again in the future, especially after learning that the bus into the city center is cheap or free depending on your age! "
"This is the only place I like to stay in Juneau. The location is perfect for downtown walking, dining and politicking. The rooms are well appointed, clean and comfortable. The owner-operators are caring, warm and serve incredible breakfast every morning. Highly recommend."
"
staff was professional and generally friendly and helpful.
The property is well cared for
The atrium is nice and bright and welcome on both sunny and cloudy days. The cookies , fruit and bars during the day and evening and good coffee are welcome. The continental breakfast is good. hotel is quiet and well landscaped. Location works well for the Valley and airport proximity. "
"My husband and I stayed three nights and our stay was very nice. Great staff, helpful always with a sense of humor. The location of the hotel, close to historic downtown and on the waterfront was very handy. We could walk to go shopping and restaurants. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and we will stay here again😊"
