Quiet, clean remodeled motel. If you want to rest, take a shower and a swim at a very reasonable rate this is it. Bed was comfortable, everything was clean including the pool.

If you’re looking for a motel where the staff beats on your room door to accuse you for not counting young kids when you book a room and wanting more money, or if you want a dirty breakfast where they have the silverware just laying on shelves and pancake mix just in a pitcher that looks have been in there forever. Then the AC doesn’t work proper or the shower doesn’t drain and have to shower in ankle deep water this is a motel for you.

This has been my second time staying at Sun Valley Motel. The owners take great pride in keeping their property well-maintained and clean. They are also friendly and helpful with any requests. The rooms are nice, comfortable, and clean, with modern furnishings in the bathrooms. I stayed in June, and though I did not use the pool, another family seemed to really enjoy it. It is also right in the middle of town and close to everything. I highly recommend staying here.

Everything was clean. The updated bathroom was great. My only complaint was the mattresses needed replaced. However, for the price and for a single night, it was excellent and I will absolutely stay there again if I am in town.

Rebirth of older Motel

Great Motel, modest priced older hotel that is being refurbished, service and friendly staff were excellent. Close to South Llano State Park. Excellent for Birders.

Great stay

Iwas running late and called. The lady syayed to get me checked it. The only negative would be the air conditioning was off. It took several hours to cool off. The pool is one of the bluest cleanest I have seen. This motel is a retro classic. It was a great nights sleep in a small town.

My room (105) was totally renovated and spacious. Everything was spotless clean, bed was comfortable and hvac unit was new and quiet. This place is a hidden gem.
