Reviews said breakfast was better than other hotels, but I didn't think there was a very good selection and no gluten free items. My husband enjoyed the evening cookies. A little far out from San Diego if planning activities there. I wanted to be out of the city, but it was maybe a little too far."

"A delightful surprise! I had read the reviews. I read all the great things about this property. I was happy to find that they were all true. Not the most modern. Everything felt like coming home. The grounds were lovely and the staff was super nice and helpful. Will stay again if we are in the area."

"Beautiful location and clean. But! Not a peaceful place for couples or adults. When we stayed there, there were just two other rooms rented- one with a family of 7 and one with 6 college students sharing a room. Super loud common area directly outside room, kids running laps, banging on floors above us, very little privacy or calm. Property owners post guest’s full names for all to see which also seems like a safety issue. Great if you love chaos. "
