Slottet er under renovering, og man fornemmer at de nye ejere gør meget ud af, at alle detaljer er perfekte. Den værelsesfløj vi boede i var færdigrenoveret, og værelset var meget stort og velindrettet med sans for de små detaljer. Til værelset var der en terrasse med udsigt over søen. Morgenmadsbuffet blev serveret i flotte omgivelser i selve slottets festsal. Her kan man også bestille...

"We get to the hotel and greet the receptionist and say we have a reservation and she starts speaking in german and say we don't have a reservation (i think) in a very angry way, and when i didn't understand she got even angrier and gesticulates at us, and then guy shows up that speaks good enough english and we ask what's wrong and he says nothing and we get our key. "We had a fantastic stay at the hotel. It was as romantic as we wished for to our anniversary celebration. It is nice and quiete. Nice rooms, very good breakfast buffet, and super good restaurant. Nice service, and i was positiv surprised about the observant and smiling staff that always had a nice word to you . We can highly reccomend the hotel."

"Charming small hotel visited a week before Easter 2024 - not their peak season so I suspect it is sometimes harder to get the lovely room on the 5th floor - but the room itself was a solid without being outstanding. The breakfast included in the room was decent - perhaps not as good as in some larger hotels but it would be unfair to expect them to provide as much variety in such a small hotel - and the made to order choose your eggs was a nice touch. "Zweck der Übernachtung war, eine allzu frühe Anfahrt in den Raum Malchin zu vermeiden, so dass das Hotel Marcus den Zweck hatte, eine verhältnismäßig günstige Nacht in der Gegend verbringen zu können. Für diesen Zweck ist das Hotel sehr gut geeignet, ich habe mich immer wohl gefühlt. Das Essen war gut, das Personal nett.
