Days Inn by Wyndham Sarnia Harbourfront
10/10 Excellent
"We were greeted with a smile and a friendly hello upon arriving at the front desk. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. Our room was a reasonable size and very clean. The bed was in excellent condition and we got a good nights sleep. The shower was perfect and we had no issues with the running of it or not enough hot water. The flushing of the toilet seemed to run for awhile but it did eventually stop.
The amenities provided for the shower area was really good. Three pumping bottles were provided for a body cleansing, shampoo and a conditioner as well as a bar of soap. A blower dryer was provided along with an iron/ironing board in case that was something you needed.
All in all a 10 out of 10 rating from us
Also want to mention that the complimentary breakfast was excellent and I did mention that to the lady that looked after everything in the kitchen and eating area. Very, very clean area!
Keep up the excellent service to everyone at Days Inn 😊"
The Insignia Hotel, Sarnia, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Not officially 4★ but LOOKS & FEELS like one – modern, crisp, calming. QUIET ROOMS / COMFY BEDS / SOFT CLEAN SHEETS. Service was EXCELLENT – staff clearly take pride in their work. BEST SURPRISE → TWO ELECTRIC SAUNAS right beside the pool + hot tub (not even mentioned online!) + a GAMES ROOM with a pool table we found last minute. FOOD = SHOCKINGLY REASONABLE for a Marriott (maybe that’s Sarnia). Had a tasty EGGS BENEDICT – slightly overcooked but I didn’t specify, so fair enough. Tiny hiccup → some OLD MENUS with prices off by $1, but no big deal when everything else was this good. BONUS → RELAXING 1PM LATE CHECKOUT. PRICE? Just $140 CAD/night – an absolute STEAL compared to what you’d pay north of Toronto for something far less nice. AREA HIGHLIGHTS → soft-sand BEACH, FREE downtown ART GALLERY, quirky little OIL MUSEUM. ALL IN ALL → FANTASTIC, AFFORDABLE GETAWAY from Toronto – already planning to return!"
