"We were in Apartment 2 which is a fully furnished apartment downstairs with not much of a view. The apartments, by the way, don't include breakfast which we didn't find out until after we booked. The apartment was nice and spacious but a little run down. The bathroom needed a little cleaning - there was hair in the shower when we got there. And a couple of light fixtures didn't work. It's also not in a great part of town - not scary, but a lot of homeless nearby with a shelter just one block away. It served our purpose and in fact was more than the 2 of us needed and the staff that greeted us on arrival (Jeff) was friendly and helpful."

"The place offers a lot and the staff was friendly and helpful. Some things to note, make sure you bring an iron and hair dryer because the room didn't provide one. The breakfast was good but there is not much of a variety. Coffee, tea and hot and cold water availability all day was a nice amenity. Overall, a solid place to reside and use as a stomping ground for all your adventures."

"We had booked another hotel close to the airport and then read the reviews that said it was dirty and the staff was difficult, so we changed our reservation to the Ramada. We were specifically looking for a hotel with transport to and from the airport. When we called from the airport to request transport we were told that the van was not operable, but they would send a car. However, we were a family group of 11 and it would talk over two hours for the car to make round trips to get us all to the hotel. The receptionist told us to get taxi's, but said they would not compensate us. This is what we did which was an additional expense. The next day I approached the desk to see if they could rent or borrow a van to take us to the airport. This time the receptionist was very willing to work with us and promised to talk to the manager. The manager. Mohamad, called and paid for two Ubers and with the hotel car we made it back to the airport. This hotel is dated and 20 minutes from the airport. But it was within walking distance of the excellent Anchorage museum and we felt they responded positively to our situation."

"John was very courteous, helpful and accommodating. Airport shuttle was a little bit rushed as there was only one driver for the hotel in the busy season. Older hotel located near Merrill airport which tended to be loud at times with overhead planes and jets. A surprising hot breakfast buffet with real food, not powder eggs. Will visit again."
