"difficult check in with 2 young kids who were tired after 3 hours' drive, arrived 2:45 PM and requested Ealy check-in, was told that room was not ready and asked me to wait, i saw there was a big line and everyone else was getting room key who arrived around the same time. room was congested; Sofa bed was not comfortable and extra sheets and blanket were not provided. Overall, not so great experience. Btw , I am a HH memember. "

"I love the dinner and Breakfast options!! Dan was supper helpful superb customer service! Yodt was very nice, the young man with the locs, the beautiful bartender, and the Breakfast guy was ALL SOOOO nice EVERYONE!!"

"The property inside and out was well maintained & clean. Breakfast is outstanding with alot of options! The staff are very helpful & provide great recommendations for lunch & supper. Extremely dog friendly with plenty of areas for my mini dachshund to explore. The area is busy but very tolerable. There's no outside noise from inside. Our room was very quiet. Plenty of parking & i felt safe in the area. 10-10 would recommend this hotel! Our stay was wonderful!"

"This property is great because of affordability and a nice staff. It is quite old and a bit rundown, but perfectly acceptable place to stay. I slept really well! I will say that there was very little hot water available for the shower, which made me sad but is what it is."

"I recently stayed at Sonesta Hotel and Resorts Columbus Downtown for a work trip, and I would not recommend this hotel. Housekeeping was inconsistent from the start. My room was not cleaned after my first day, and I was told service is only provided upon request. Even after requesting it for the next day, the room was still not cleaned. When they finally did service the room, only the bed was made and towels were replaced—surfaces, bathroom, and floors were not cleaned at all. The most concerning issue was finding a bedbug in the bed during our stay. This is every traveler’s worst nightmare. When I reported it, the staff apologized, but their reaction made it seem like this may not have been an isolated incident. Additionally, when I opened the curtains, I found dirty socks covered in pet hair left behind, which clearly shows the room was not properly cleaned or inspected. There were also billing concerns. Even though the charges to my room were eventually zeroed out, there were still charges on the bill that should not have been there in the first place. This raises concerns about their attention to detail and billing accuracy. Also worth noting: the hotel restaurant is overpriced, so I recommend dining elsewhere. Overall, between the cleanliness issues, lack of proper housekeeping, the bedbug incident, and billing concerns, I would strongly suggest choosing a different hotel."

"Clean enough, very small and basic. Room was right by train tracks, heard a few freighters coming through in the middle of the night. Breakfast sandwich and coffee were good. Near OSU. Felt safe enough. Good place to sleep and shower for a night or two. "

"Hair was left in the room and some type of rodent droppings . Front desk staff super nice. AC worked well. "
