The location is terrific. The hotel is older, but it has been fairly well maintained. We had a pizza as a snack when we arrived and it was wonderful. We would go back the next time we go to Charleston.

The room was fabulous! My only complaint would be the parking situation. My car was 1 inch too big to park at the hotel carousel, so we had to park at a nearby parking garage. The Palmetto House
Clean, spacious, accommodating to my family of 5. We enjoyed that it was not directly on king street but close enough for us. If you like to walk this is your place !
