"Pros: Beautiful grounds/buildings and the casitas are close to restaurants, golf, pool, etc. It is a peaceful place, very calming. Staff were very friendly and kind.
Cons: Food was unexceptional and expensive. Service was quite slow, even when it was uncrowded. Smaller not deal-killer stuff: There is a fair amount of “dated-ness” and old stuff in the rooms: shower heads, coffee pots, iron, even the tv remotes were really old. The mattress was way too soft. The pool had a lot of debris including dead bees and tree seeds. And also, I’ve never stayed in any hotel, especially an upscale one, with no full length mirror!"
"The receptionist was excellent and very helpful.
We came for our anniversary from Mexico.
Our room was excellent except the balcony had wasps and they were a little bit aggressive. We did let the receptionist know at check out.
In their defense the wasps were barely starting to build a nest it seems.
The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the breakfast situation. Seemed a bit awkward, too rationed and an uncomfortable setup which is not the breakfast workers fault.
Overall the staff was wonderful."
"I was very impressed with how well maintained this property is. My room was immaculate. The staff, very friendly and helpful. The Gym I didn't get a chance to use looked like a gym I'd like to have. Breakfast was very tasteful. The breakfast area was nice and clean. I like that I can walk to a few of the eating establishments nearby. Overall, this is a nice place to stay."
"Nice place in general. Small room and grounds tucked into a congested location. Relaxing despite the June afternoon heat. Evita was wonderful and very helpful. Sweet young lady."
