"The property itself, and the staff were fantastic. I also prepaid for breakfast, and that was excellent. To be clear, I have no qualms about the property or the staff. However, it’s the area itself, which can be a little sketchy. The intercontinental hotel across the street appears to be fenced off. There’s an empty lot down the street where there were lots of homeless people hanging out. It’s not exactly the safest place particularly for women I don’t think. Would I stay here again? Probably because the location is good. Would I want my wife to stay here without me? Nope"

"Very nice hotel, room was clean , staff were all very friendly, the pool/ sauna area was beautifully maintained and was fully stocked with towels for day use. Restaurants were nice , the tapas lounge was very slow to receive service but the staff were pleasant. Would recommend ."

"Our stay at Homaris Nibelungen was very comfortable and the location suited us quite well, near enough to transport and a grocery. The room was clean and comfortable for the two of us, with a separate bedroom. There was a fair amount of traffic noise (we were on the side of the main road), but it did quiet down later in the evening. One thing to be aware of -- there is no reception, and the building is not well marked by Homaris (it has the name of another hotel still on the building), so we had some difficulty finding it, but once that was resolved we were well pleased."

"Hotel is good location and nice sized rooms just the check in staff are by far the most miserable people you’ll encounter. Barely an acknowledgment or any explanation of facilities. I’m silver Marriott Bonvoy and this is not the same welcome you get across their other hotels. Check in should not feel like an inconvenience for staff when it’s not busy?"
