Short stay in Cape Town.

A short two nights stay at the Southern Sun Hotel in central Cape Town at the end of our cruise. Had to wait a long time to be taken to our room so we left our luggage in the hotel store and went to the seafront until late afternoon which was very nice. Had a nice snack in the evening in the lovely hotel bar. Didn’t get much chance to use the pool as it was evening time and quite dark. Would love to visit this hotel again in the future.

Overall the stay was not that bad but there were multiple problems i.e their internet policy which only permit 500 MB data per day which is not acceptable. Many outsider are come for drink in their bar as it is located with the shopping mall which create a lot rush in the bar which is also located with the pool so you can't enjoy their pool side. Secondly their pool is only 1-2 meter deep which make it impossible for swim.

The internet frequently malfunctions, and my phone consistently fails to connect with Housekeeping, Concierge, and Front Desk. Despite my repeated requests to the front desk, I stayed here for eight nights in a room with a subpar view – initially facing the mall parking lot and later overlooking the restaurant's roof.
