This is a basic local guest house. No backup generator which is key in South Africa these days (rolling blackouts). Only one choice for breakfast. Small room.

Mold around the bathtub, cockroaches, spiders and moths in room, main TV did not work, missing light bulbs/various different light bulbs, asked them to change and also install where missing. Pool was dirty, debris in pool and a chair, mattress was very hard and uncomfortable, the safe did not work, offered us a free breakfast due to the cockroach issue. Staff was the only good thing. Definitely needs refurbishing.

beautiful property and rooms, but very old mattress, the very old TV didn't work could not change channel to DSTV or anything and it keeps turning off, food was cold not sure if it was made before and heated in micro but still cold, internet didnt work even though the WIFI connected.

Excellent accommodation

My wife and I spent 9 nights at the guest house in the honeymoon suite and would highly recommend it. The room was very comfortable and private. The staff were excellent and very attentive. We were treated very well by Venoth on our arrival, which was late afternoon on a public holiday. As it was our 50th wedding anniversary he surprised us with a bottle of bubbly. Such a nice surprise! Should we need to return to Alberton again from Australia, we will definitely stay there again. Great accommodation.

Great place to stay!

Beautiful, quiet, great location. Staff were fabulous. Will definitely recommend it to family and friends and will stay there again. Only gave 4 out of 5 rating for comfort as would have preferred a harder mattress. Otherwise, facility was awesome!!!
