"Hotel undergoing a renovation which wasn’t revealed until after completing reservation. This is the second time this type of thing has happened when booking through Expedia. We should have been given the option of canceling when we received the message from the hotel. This is not the fault of the hotel. It is something that Expedia should do better at moving forward."

"We had a wonderful time! The pools and beach are amazing. Food at the Echo is great. I hear they’re going to do a major Reno/upgrade in November which will be good. The bathrooms needed more storage space. My only complaint is no coffee in the room and only one barista to serve everyone, which could cause a five or 10 minute wait."

"We had room 20 ,the most comfortable mattress ever !! The room is updated , great refrigerator & Mico & Keurig . Hugh shower , we walked downtown , the location is fantastic . Go to the half shell for happy hour drinks . Definitely will be back"

"I have traveled extensively this year everything from cruises to four and five star hotel stays across the US and the Westin Jekyll Island beat them all in two categories number one this hotel smelled so good. The first thing I did when I checked out was purchased their signature sent so I could have it in my house and number two the bed, bedding, and pillows were more comfortable than any other bed I’ve ever slept in on a vacation ever."
