Old Town Senses Boutique Hotel

"The room was very modern with a comfortable bed. AC worked great. Breakfast was good. Appreciated the frig but the freezer did not work. The bath/shower was unique and little risky for older people. Very short toilet and I'm short. We were on the ground floor facing the parking lot so kept our shutters closed."

"If only staff at all hotels were this good. It is in a nice convenient location in the old town with a few minutes walk from the city gate. From a fabulous welcome, it was an easy check in. Then escorted to the room with an explanation on how everything worked and a complimentary welcome drink. The next morning breakfast was lovely and after check out I was taken out of the old town to the taxi stand where the hotel staff explained to the taxi driver where my next destination was. All round fantastic service and thanks for a lovely stay."

Savaas the owner is a gentleman and knows and loves his city and history and will teach some highlights of the past of Rhodes. "Very cute bedroom and hotel. Small-ish but fine. Bedding on the hard side. Great location. The staff is the only reason i'm not giving it 5 stars. No one was at the reception for more than 10 minutes and a phone number to call doesn't help when your phone service doesn't work in a new country. We asked for an extra pillow and the lady said "maybe" because they were unlikely to have extra (bizarre for a hotel) and never delivered a pillow. We went out for dinner and the hotel door was locked. No one told us they were a code but fortunately someone heard us and opened us from inside. No one in the lobby when checking out ."

"We stayed in an Executive room for five nights. 1. We weren't told that the room is cleaned and tidied only every other day. Things like that should be mentioned in advance. 2. There was a coffee machine in the room. We ran out of coffee capsules after a day and a half. When I asked why the coffee supplies hadn't been replenished, I was told that this had to be done through room service (for a fee!)"

"Perfect location for visiting Rhodes Old Town - tucked away in a quiet part of town, but just a couple of minutes walk from all the main sights. The InCamera name links to the small display of photography memorabilia in each room, but essentially this is an authentic Greek boutique hotel. Many thanks to both George and the charming Marina such a warm welcome and for making our stay memorable. We particularly appreciated the team looking after luggage whilst we spent two days visiting Symi, the buggy lift to the ferry terminal and restaurant recommendations. Given the limited number of rooms, breakfast was served on a small 1st floor terrace, that was never busy during the three mornings we had there. The range and quality of breakfast was entirely appropriate for hotel of this style and size. Usually we would make our own arrangements for a taxi from the airport, but on this occasion we used the hotels own service. Standard taxi’s cannot drop off inside the Old Town, whereas InCamera’s car can get most of the way, after which hotel staff will help with luggage."
