"The place was wonderfully renovated with delightful facilities on the grounds. My review was lessened only to the fact that the mattress was way too soft, but that is a personal preference. Overall, it was an enjoyable couple's stay of 1 night."

"We stayed for the Writers Festival and it was a perfect location which enabled us to walk everywhere all weekend. Whilst from the outside the hotel doesn’t look much, the rooms and inside are nicely done and modern whilst retaining the old world charm. Rooms are spacious and breakfast was good value"

"We were there for 5 night's and the manager indicated not long after we settled in that as were were there for an extended period, if a bigger unit became available he would shift us to that. As we had already moved everything in, my wife told him not to worry (I would not have said that). As they already knew well in advance that we were there for 5 nights I thought they may have given us a bigger unit anyhow. During our stay, while supplies were replenished regularly the towels were not changed, maybe that was our fault. Other places we have been at would have automatically done that. Parking allocations were not always strictly adhered to, although it was not a major issue. Overall, we were happy with the room and the location."

"The room was stunning and super clean and tidy. It had every amenity we needed (except a freezer section in the fridge). Champagne on arrival to celebrate our anniversary made it super special! The shower is hot with great water pressure. The bed was so comfortable and luxurious. I’m just disappointed the outdoor pool was closed and I wasn’t aware. It’s closed 2/3 of the year and you can’t sit by the pool either which is a shame."
