"Beautifully manicured grounds on arrival. Easy parking outside our cottage. Good sized bathroom with plenty of hot water and nice toiletries. Well appointed kitchenette and we had to ask for just a couple of essential items. Nice balcony surrounded by trees. "Staff were mostly helpful and friendly, room was clean however had a strange smell, the renovations were not best quality, THE SHOWER WAS TERRIBLE very little water pressure to shower. Missing small necessary touches like a soap dish or extra face towels. Finding beach towels outside was hit or miss. Food was good/ok except for Orchid the steak house you pay addition 50 pp. I do not recommend orchid. My daughter asked for her steak rare and it came back well done, she sent it back and it still came make well done. Very disappointing. Also they had a large party of 15 in the main dining area that were very loud, I could see on other guests faces that were trying to have a nice romantic dinner with their partners also disappointed. Staff made me feel rushed coming to collect plates every few minutes"
