Shaloha Guest House is an excellent place to stay at Jeffreys Bay. The communal areas and bedrooms are spacious and all in excellent condition. Tea, coffee fruit and cakes are all provided. The manager, Prudence, is very helpful and courteous. We really enjoyed our stay here.

We Opt to Stay Longer Each Time!

Zandra is the perfect host in this gem of a guesthouse. Her staff are so lovely and keep the whole place pristine. The shared kitchen areas are amazingly well kitted out and dining beside the fireplace outside in the evening is so magical that we haven’t tried a restaurant in JBay for dinner! Everything about this place is 5+star.

Amazing Stay!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! We were celebrating our honeymoon and we had a gorgeous ocean facing balcony, the room came with bathrobes & a mini fridge so we could chill our champagne. The room was fantastic! The staff were so friendly and we happened to be the only guests so it was very private and quiet. The communal kitchen looked lovely. Breakfast was only a few steps away at another building but you could definitely make your own in the kitchen. I highly recommend staying here.

Wir hatten zwei wundervolle Tage im Shaloha guesthouse. Frühstück gab es gleich gegenüber. Dadurch, dass wir die einzigen Gäste waren, hatten wir mehr oder weniger das ganze Haus für uns allein. Es gibt schöne Aufenthaltsräume, eine Bibliothek, eine gut ausgestattete Küche für die, die kochen wollen, alles tiptop. 100% empfehlenswert!

Deliciosa surpresa!

Fiquei maravilhada com o quarto e com toda a hospitalidade! Recebemos um upgrade de quarto, para o segundo andar, com uma varanda enorme com vista para o mar! Creio que éramos os únicos hóspedes da guesthouse naquela noite, e nos sentimos realmente em casa. O quarto era enorme, com tudo que se espera para um hotel, apesar de ser uma casa: cofre, várias toalhas, hidratante, shower gel, café, chá e biscoitos para consumo no quarto, além de um café da manhã com parte buffet e um menu de pratos quentes a escolha! Quem nos recebeu, Zandra, ainda deus dicas de restaurantes e nos informou do serviço de Shuttle do excelente restaurante Kitchen Windows, que busca e leva os hóspedes! Enfim, ficaria lá novamente com certeza!

Die Lage ist super mit direktem Blick auf die Wellen und die Surfer. Man fühlt sich in dem Guesthaus sehr wohl, da der Service (besonders Cynthia) sehr angenehm und zuvorkommend ist. Abends wird immer ein Kaminfeuer gemacht, wo man gemütlich sitzen und sich Marschmallows grillen kann.

A really nice, laid back beach house in a fantastic location right on the beach with a view out to sea. Our room was sea facing with a balcony from which we could see dolphins and surfers. Simply furnished but spacious. The open plan public areas were lovely with two large lounges and a first floor balcony. There’s also a large braai fire on the ground floor verandah which was lit for us. Breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s also a short walk from Nina’s which was excellent for dinner. The beaches in Jeffrey’s Bay are fantastic and it’s helpful to have a car as it’s quite stretched out.
