"Bathroom was good size and very clean. Room is very tired looking, definitely needs carpets removed. Breakfast was decent, fruit selection was not the best though. Hotel is excellent location for exploring. "

"Sorry, really cannot recommend this property. Two star at best. Arrived late (10pm), checked in, room was 24.3C. Took help from the staff to figure out how to open the windows. Shower was horrible to use, no proper curtain or door. You end up with water everywhere. Morning breakfast was poor with the exception of the chocolate croissants. Won’t stay there again."

"The breakfasts were excellent, such a wide variety available and staff were very attentive at clearing tables, topping up etc. Great hotel, with lovely atmosphere and so iconic of the 1930's. Would thoroughly recommend for a stay in Zagreb."

"The hotel was easily accessible to the hotel and the shuttle was only 6 Euro for the two of us. It was ready and took us as soon as we were down. The room was clean but shows signs of age and had carpet which isn't appealing. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice. It had a TV and small fridge but that was it. We had a few drinks at the small outdoor space and dinner at the restaurant which was good. The staff at the bar/restaurant were nice and friendly but the person at reception was not. Attentive but did not seem happy at all with no smiles. The check-in was quick and smooth and we were shown to our room. There was a small convenience store a couple mins down the road so that was nice to pick up a couple snacks and drinks for the room. For a hotel near an airport the price was reasonable, acceptable and we would stay there again."
