Overall, the hotel is in very good condition and we had a great stay. The breakfast was delicious, with a nice variety of options, and the front desk staff were always very friendly and attentive. The only thing to keep in mind is that we noticed some ants in the kitchen area of the room, so I would recommend being careful about leaving any food out. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again

Property was just renovated and was very clean, cozy and spacious. Walking distance to Jan Thiel beach, grocery store and many restaurants on the beach. Pool was warm and clean.

Was an amazing stay! The property is well kept and bigger than I thought. Having an adult pool was really nice and peaceful! We added their breakfast to our stay and had a lot of options and was delicious. From the resort it’s about a 5 min walk to Jan Thiel Beach, grocery store and many restaurants, shops and snack bars! My only complaint is that if you decide to dine for dinner at the resort restaurant they are pretty slow so don’t go starving cause it will take a while. We dined out or at Zest on Jan Theil beach instead most nights. Would for sure stay again and highly recommend!

The listing on expedia said 3 king beds, but we got a villa with 2 king beds and one tiny room with a single bed and no other furniture in it. When I asked at front desk they said no other rooms were available. Luckily there were only 3 of us. I see the expedia receipt says 3 bedrooms but no mention of the 3 kings. I dont know if the mistake was on expedia side or the sonesta side. The place is nice but some maintenence issues. Outside showers not working. No hand rails on main pool. Staff hot orders wrong 1/3 the time or took 30 minutes to come to table to take order on 2 occasions of the 4 times we atr at restaurant. Location was 5 stars. Price was great. So I would look past the short comings.

Good breakfast, good rooms. Would have scored higher but sunbed situation is a joke. Not enough for the number of guest but 16 sat empty everyday as they were under palpas which the hotel wanted to charge $50 to rent…not surprisingly nobody ever rented one!!

Our first visit to Curaçao did not disappoint…it was fantastic! Livingstone Jan Thiel is a wonderful resort. Great staff, very clean, great amenities, lots of chairs around the pool. The food was excellent. It’s less than a five minute walk to the beach with tons of restaurants, bars and beach chairs. The snorkelling is incredible. Would recommend this resort over and over. We will be back :)
