Beautiful view, very clean, delicious breakfast and very accommodating. Outside of the tap water smelling like rotten eggs and the bed not so big, it was a lovely experience staying there.

Comfortable and clean old fashioned charm

Lovely inn. Our suite was in the back house. Comfortable and private with a wonderful king bed, living room and dining area, a kitchen and good sized bathroom. The breakfasts which served in the main house, were part of the price of our suite, and were delicious. There were Bery polite and cordial servers and an in house chef. The owner greeted us and gave us a history of the house and the area. Lake front. Great walks. Bonfire at dusk by the dock.

Our first stay heading for our second..

Last November (2017) my wife and I needed to stay somewhere close to Bemus Point for a night and we were able to book the Front Carriage House due to it being a bit out of season. We had such a nice time that we have booked a second trip for a four night stay in August. Rose and Paul were great hosts and their home (our B&B) is spectacular. Todd and Debbie Martenson

Best B&B we've ever stayed at....

My husband and I had the distinct pleasure of staying at the Maple Springs B&B the weekend of May 19, 2018. We traveled from AZ to NY for my step daughter'.s College graduation. Our connecting flight was delayed in Chicago, making us several hours late for our check-in. We didn't arrive until after 11:00 pm. Not only was Rosemary waiting for us, she offered us food and beverages. As you can imagine, we were exhausted and Rosemary took us upstairs to our room (even offering to carry our luggage.) Our room was beautiful, overlooking the water, with a private bath and a/c. We awoke the next morning to the smell of fresh coffee, homemade scones, eggs, bacon, sausages, fresh fruit, jam and a plethora of other wonderful edibles. Because we arrived late, we didn't get to see the beauty of the house until the next morning. From the grand piano in the living room, to the fireplaces, to the beautiful outside, we were completely blown away. Because we spent the rest of the day sightseeing, hiking, walking through the town, I re-injured a pesky knee and when I woke up the next morning, I couldn't walk. Mike offered to come upstairs and help my husband guide me downstairs. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was ok, and comfortable. They saved breakfast for me and were sincerely concerned. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms available on the first floor for the remainder of our stay. Rosemary offered their private guest house to us. My husband and I were overwhelmed by their kindness--they really made us feel like family. We will definitely return to the Maple Inn B&B...Thank you, Rosemary, Paul and Mike. Betty and Bob Marks

You're Gonna Love It !

What a lovely place, wherever you look. You could sit beside the lake, watch Paul build a HUGE fire, and chat with others. The breakfasts were memorable. And the hospitality was wonderful. There are many cozy spaces and you could choose whether you wanted to chat or quietly contemplate. And this is handy to so many places in the Jamestown region, Chautauqua Institute, wineries, Bemus Point with great restaurants and little shops. Very much worth it ! You'll think you're in a movie !

Winter Getaway

We did a mid-winter getaway at Maple Springs. The weather was freezing so Rose upgraded us to the carriage house where the rooms have individual thermostats. The place is cozy and charming and Rose was a true pleasure. She made us a wonderful breakfast. We WILL return!

Best get away ever !

My husband and I stayed at the Inn 2 days and 1 night. We stayed in the carriage house front suite . We will start with our arrival, It is so beautiful when you pull up and you feel like you stepped back into a different era. We were greeted by Rose who welcomed us and showed us around the main house, then the carriage house. The main house is stunning, Rose has some amazing antiques (and wonderful taste). The carriage house was awesome, a very comfortable living-room, a nice dinning area, a charming kitchen that was fully stocked with pots and pans, dishes, silverware, everything you could possibly need. The bathroom was a very generous in size with a whirlpool tub, wonderful shower plenty of very large sized towels, soaps, etc. The bedroom was a very nice size. Queen bed (that was amazingly comfortable) plenty of pillows, extra blankets, 2 night stands, a dresser, desk and very good sized closet. Rose is very familiar with the area and advised us of several restaurants and even had menu's from them for us to look over. After settling in we walked down to the lake where it was very serene and inviting, plenty of seating and nice set up for bonfire. We drove into lakewood to have dinner at Davidson's family restaurant, great food at even better prices. As we happen to be the only visitors this particular day Rose let us pick what we wanted for breakfast the next morning. We chose her Quiche, it was served with homemade bread, fresh fruit, sausage and homemade scones. I don't even have words for how wonderful it all was. Paul joined us for breakfast and was very good natured and a pleasure to talk with. We felt like we were having breakfast with a friend. After breakfast Rose gave us a more detailed tour telling us interesting stories about the Inn and some of the art work and antiques. We had a wonderful relaxing time and enjoyed the company as much as the property, We will definitely be back and recommend to family and friends.

Stayed in the Carriage House

My girlfriend and I stayed there for 2 night in the Carriage House. Rose and Paul treated us like we were family. We went for a bicycle ride around the lake and it was wonderful. I would recommend to anyone.

Simply Outstanding!!!

My husband and I stayed in the Carriage House front suite. It was impeccably clean and incredibly cozy. Breakfast each morning was superb!!! Overall, the Inn and the grounds are lovely and we appreciated the easy access to Chautauqua Lake for our rather long kayak. Rose and Paul are the best hosts!!

Another Great Visit At Maple Springs Lake Side Inn

Rose and Paul are stellar Inn Keepers - accommodating, kind, thoughtful, informative and have a true knack for making you feel at home on many levels - including the lovely sit-down breakfast offered every morning. Also the location of the Inn is fantastic as it is close to many points of interest - including the Chautauqua Institution that we were visiting. We have stayed at Maple Springs Lake SIde Inn on two occasions and look forward to many more visits in the near future. Thank you Rose and Paul - your'e awesome!

Great Fall Getaway

Four of us girls stayed at Maple Springs Lakeside Inn for 2 days in September. We were the only guests since the Chautauqua Institute season was past. Rose and Rob were wonderful hosts, even giving us a third room for just an added cleaning fee. Rob built us a bonfire at night and provided us with blankets and extra jackets for the cool evening outside. The view of the lake is amazing and the breakfasts prepared by Mike were delicious. Would love to return in the near future!

Truly a memorable experience

My mom, sister and I came for a long weekend and it truly was an amazing experience. To start Rose is one of the cleanest people in the world, I mean it is hard to impress my mom and I promise you outside of home and few family members this is the cleanest place I have ever stayed at. The breakfast was on point and the morning scones and pastries were perfect. The location was great - quiet yet about 15-20 min away from everything. Niagara Falls and Buffalo were close enough to get to as well. We had the luxury of meeting frequent flyers who filled us in on what to do and where to go. The restaurants for dinner in Bemus point were ok but there are plenty in Mayville and other neighboring towns. We can't wait to come back and visit!

Quiet on the lake

We enjoyed seeing the lake from the inn and having a bonfire on the beach. The inn was quiet and we had space to ourselves to read and drink wine in the evenings. We spent one day at the Chautauqua Institution (about a 20 min drive) and took a lake cruise on the paddlewheel steamboat that the family also runs. It's a comfortable and pretty spot, with plenty to see within easy access.
