"I had to pay a $100 CASH ONLY deposit which I have never had to do in all my years of travel. The room was so dilapidated and gross. The front staff that checked me in was nice but I still had a bad experience overall. Thankfully it was only for one night out of necessity."

"Great stop for on the way up north from Florida. Staff was courteous and friendly. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. We will definitely stay again next year. "

"The check-in staff member was friendly and helpful. The property was clean and well-maintained. The lawns were cut and there was no trash laying around. There was plenty of safety lighting in the parking area. Our non-smoking room was clean, well-equipped, and had no odor of smoke like some of the hotels that offer "non-smoking" rooms. The breakfast was nice. All-in-all a very pleasant stay."

"THE STAFF DISPLAYED GREAT CUSTOMER SEVICE!
THE LOCATION OF THE PROPERTY WAS NEAR MY DESTINATION FOR A BIBLE CONFERENCE! THE PROPERTY AND ROOM WERE CLEAN! I GOT MORE FOR MY BUCK THAN EXPECTED!"
"I thoroughly enjoyed my entire stay, so much, that I booked an additional night. This was a birthday visit and the staff went above and beyond, even the staff at 1509 as well with a 15% discount on dinner as guests of the kress, free Rock climbing as a guest right next door to the Kress, first Friday celebration, brunch at Reid's Apothecary down the street, the farmers market at Mary Ross Park, shopping on Newcastle, enjoying one of the park areas near the hotel...I felt so very special. The Kress is my go to luxury hotel every year for my birthday!"
