"Overall the Tides is a nice place to stay. The location, onsite restaurants, and walkability to all Folly has to offer is wonderful. We had a premium oceanfront room, so the view was great, especially close to the pier. The Tides does need to update the rooms & clean them better, however. Our room & bedding smelled musty. Mattress was on the harder side. The refrigerator was super tiny, and leftover boxes wouldn’t fit. For the price point, we expected a little more. We still enjoyed our stay & can’t wait to come back to the area."
