James Island hotel rooms a the Country Hearth Inn

"I had a pool and harbor view, and it was beautiful. The room was clean and neat. But I had a lukewarm to cool shower for 3 mornings, which was not ok. I did mention to the front desk, but no solution. The bathroom faucet had hot water, but not the shower. Also, the TV is old and not a smart TV that allows streaming, etc. The newer laminate floorings are nice in the rooms, eliminating carpet, but the sacrifice is noisy furniture from late night guest that are inconsiderate and moving the furniture around. As well as heavy older doors that create a loud noise when slammed shut. It was not the resort's problem with the late-night 12-2 am loud, noisy guests. But that also affects my stay at the resort."

"The location was nice. Didnt have parking or vouchers for parking so got pricey for that.No continental breakfast which is nice. So a little disappointing in those areas of the stay."

"This hotel is all about the location. If you are expecting a modern hotel this isn’t it, you can tell the rooms and in general the hotel is outdated. But the room was spacious, bathroom was tiny though."

"Beautiful property in a great location. Our room opened out to a large balcony overlooking the garden/courtyard where we enjoyed our morning coffee to the sounds of water and birds every morning. We walked almost everywhere, but also used the free shuttle."

"We had issues with the cleanliness of our room, but the staff was very attentive and moved us as soon as possible. The amenities were not great. The breakfast was basic and the gym was minimal and had some broken/missing equipment. "
