"I absolutely loved this hotel!! It was right on the beach and waking up to the sounds of ocean was magical. The room was spacious, comfortable, with a really good shower. The bed was very comfortable and had a mosquito net and AC which was great. I was only here for one night but would have happily stayed for the duration of my time in Jambiani. "I had assumed incorrectly that Zanzistar was on the beach, so when I arrived, I was really disappointed. I felt claustrophobic in the garden which is surrounded on all sides by high fences. The beach bar which is a 5-minute walk away was underwhelming and there were lots of people smoking. Unless you lay in the front row, in the sun, you couldnt really enjoy the sea view.
