"Jag och min fru besökte hotellet under vår smekmånad i Tanzania. Detta hotell var helt nyöppnat och vi var väldigt skeptiska till hotellet när vi först bokade eftersom många av bilderna var genererade och inte faktiska foton... Men vi chansade och fick en superbra upplevelse. Allt var väldigt rent och fräscht och personalen var väldigt måna om att vi hade det bra. Vi blev uppgraderade till ett bättre rum än vi bokat eftersom det fanns tillgängligt och blev även bjudna på saker under vistelsen...

"I had assumed incorrectly that Zanzistar was on the beach, so when I arrived, I was really disappointed. I felt claustrophobic in the garden which is surrounded on all sides by high fences. The beach bar which is a 5-minute walk away was underwhelming and there were lots of people smoking. Unless you lay in the front row, in the sun, you couldnt really enjoy the sea view. "This is the best villa we’ve stayed at. It’s right on Jambiani beach which is a really beautiful and calm beach (compared to Paje and those in the north such as Nungwi and Kendwa). It has only 3 villas with a pool, so there’s privacy and it’s quiet. We stayed 4 nights at the second floor villa (Bibi Juu) which had a large balcony where we had our breakfast while looking out at the Indian Ocean. "Absolutely amazing experiences. The beaches in the area are not amazing (although are very nice at high tide), but that said the hotel itself is enough of a destination to make it perfect for an extended stay. The staff is amazing and very attentive. The hotels amenities itself are far beyond the 3 star standard listed, especially given the local standards. Really stands out against all the local experiences. "

"Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure you were happy. The hotel was clean and the pool quiet and beautiful. Beach access was great and the view from our room was stunning. It was a great place to relax after climbing Kilimanjaro! Only issue was limited range of food, particularly for vegetarians. "

"Staff were courteous and friendly. Breakfast was a little sparse but the location and outdoor facilities were great. I stayed in a room facing the ocean. Fantastic. Much better than a pool room. Should note that this hotel will not refund cancellations even though their policy says so. Beware. "

"The rooms were clean, the bed was comfortable. The venue is beautiful with a chilled vibe. The breakfast was big, although the same every day. Be careful with the pool. It is made of concrete and damages the clothing and the greenery around the pool although beautiful it leaves your swimsuit with yellow stains. The restaurant is overpriced, but the staff is nice. Close to the hotel there are other restaurants which one can visit with better prices"
