"On arrival we were immediately upgraded to a sea view room. Location and beach are good. Nice room with great view and air conditioning which is a must. All staff were very friendly. The chef is excellent and we really enjoyed our evening meals I would like to add that the manager Kariem is a credit to the running of this hotel. "Otroligt fin och prisvärd resort med fantastiskt poolområde och pool. Frukosten som ingick och beställdes al la cart, omelett, äggröra, stekta ägg, bacon, pannkakor, avokadotoast, yoghurt och fruktfat, var väskor gott. Buffébordet var också ok, med juice, kaffe, flingor och mjölk och kakor, bullar. Städning två gånger per dag och effektiva myggsprayer. Tog ca 30 min att gå på stranden in till Paje och sedan tog vi tuk-tuk hem för ca 5000 shilling. Fanns några bra restauranger närmare ut med...

"would stay here again. Overall, the hotel was clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated that aspect of my stay. However, the biggest issue I experienced was the strong smell coming from the toilets, almost as if the sewage system wasn’t working properly. It was unpleasant and made the stay uncomfortable at times. Maybe it was just our room. "

"I do NOT recommend that hotel. Old style boxxy hotel from the 1980'. Super small bathroom and shower with a plastic curtain. For the toilet, you litterally stand in the shower : unacceptable. Ok it is clean and there is a small unattractive pool. It is worth no more than 50 €, a sort of ok 2 stars lodge. No Zanzibar dream at all. Breafast is ok. Hotel is situated in second line from the beautiful beach. There are much nicer hotels ON the beach. Without a car, you are trapped in an ugly back...

"This is a tired somewhat rundown resort. It seems apparent to us that the manager is not willing to put any money into maintenance or any updates on this property. The food choices for breakfast were on such a shoestring budget it was almost insulting. Literally no cheese or dairy and the only meat were hot dog wieners. There was a sign on the Buffay one morning advertising chicken samosas but when I asked about them the server said “no… We didn’t make them“. The dartboard didn’t have any darts...

"Uhuru, the owner of this place, was very welcoming and any request was fulfilled within minutes. Bungalows are very clean, swimming pool as well. Lots and lots of space for chilling and relaxing with the view of the sea. Chefs were creating interesting and tasty dishes from Swahili kitchen. Staff was very friendly as well. This place is great for animal lovers as they have lots of cats, dogs and monkeys. Ahsante Sana!"
