Liked: Room comfort
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The front desk staff was nice with check in. The hallway on the second floor smelled like smoke bad. In our room wasnt bad but walking in the hall you could tell the no smoking inside is not enforced. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.
The staff was very kind. The bar/restaurant on site was great- portions giant and tasted great. Everything is a bit dated, but sheets and towels were clean and AC worked; which is all we really cared about at the end of a long day horse showing in a heat wave. For the price I'd say a great find.
I like the friendliness of the staff, it was quite, other people staying there were friendly and helpful. It is located in a quite location. I felt safe and secure while staying there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
The WORSE hotel I’ve stayed at. I’ve been to lots of 1 star hotels and I just use them for sleeping so I don’t car about amenities. But this hotel was just the worse. You can see old mattress outside the rooms, people drinking and doing drugs outside of your room. Smelled like smoke/stench from the begging. DID NOT FEEL SAFE AT ALL.some rooms have long rentals and people kept looking at me when I got my shopping bags inside the room. Had to double lock the room and place a chair at the door. Bathroom was just as dirty as all old, and water didn’t flush from the tub. please DONT stay there, unless you are looking for a place to get Drugs and get stabbed or worse.
The Travellodge exceeded my expectations!! For a budget friendly hotel it's one of the best.. Always friendly and helpful staff!! The room was neat, clean and with what i believe are new linens and towels.. Definitely my 1st choice for future stays!!
Repairs that were made were not very well done by appearance. The air conditioner worked great. The pool was closed and drained, so it shouldn't be advertised as having a pool. There were a lot of ppl wandering around at night, but we had no problems with sounds after 10pm. The room was quiet, smelled nice. The beds were on the firm side, but linens and pillows looked well cared for and overall sleeping conditions were fine.
Very good service from the staff, decent amenities; clean room, comfortable bed, eatery and bar in the hotel, and overall excellent value, with the only drawbacks being the lack of an elevator and the hotel's location very close to an interstate where vehicle traffic can be heard

It is what it is stayed 2 nights had no serious problems not the cleanest but overall was a good stay also the pub n grill cheeseburger was so great !!
I should prep this by saying I've stayed at this hotel a few dozen times in the past, as a child, as a teen, as a young adult, and now as an older adult. I've watched it go through some interesting changes. 20 years ago it was a scary hotel to stay at, but now its quite pleasant. The staff is friendly, english speaking people, the majority of people staying at the hotel for an extended period seem to be working class folks in transition between places to live or simply on the road working.
