"We had a wonderful stay at the Ephraim Motel. The grounds are absolutely pristine with flowers, grape vines, apple trees, and plants surrounding several picnic areas available to guests. Although we didn’t have time to enjoy it, the pool looked nice and we were told it is heated. They’re located just four minutes outside of downtown Sister Bay, making it easy for us to enjoy some quiet time away from all the tourists. But it was close enough to pop into the Piggly Wiggly or shops if need be. Our room was impeccably clean, and had a fridge and microwave, which made it easier for us to plan some picnic meals at parks nearby. They also offer a nice little breakfast—more than just pastries and juice; it included eggs and hash browns. The only problem we ran into was our room had a slight musty smell. There were no visible signs of mold, and the motel receptionist said it might be the AC unit causing the smell. Despite that, we would definitely come stay again here. Really pleasant folks running the place and convenient location. You’ll love their gardens!"
Parkwood Lodge - Door County

"Great location as we come to Door County every year. We have stayed at Parkwood Lodge previously and works great for our family. However definitely noticed a moisture issue this year; unit felt very damp. We saw mold around the top of the shower as well. I think ceiling or pedestal fans & dehumidifiers would be helpful. Loved the pool, pickleball court and quietness of the area. Would return in the future."
