"we enjoyed the location as it right across from the beach. We felt very safe, and hotel host was very helpful with local information, safety, and what to do. Service was awesome, room was clean and comfortable. Food from the restaurant was excellent and well done. Thank you Anna for an excellent dinner. It was tasty, and home cook. "

and snacks we ordered. But the location, while near the airport, is adjacent to a pretty unsightly residential property and the hotel walls weren’t built high enough to disguise the unsightly property from view."

"I really enjoyed my time at Stella Maria. Good vibe with decent food options and buffet. Slight downside was the bathroom was a little dirty. Hair dryer had dust and hair on it, and some other spots around the bathroom. But honestly, that's a small complaint. The resort felt very safe and the staff all had sparkling personalities and were very helpful and kind to an english only speaker. One small thing I will bring up is that the place is sort of loud. Not a complaint so much as just a warning...
