"Second time we have stayed here. The location is excellent. The outside space and grounds are beautiful The staff we met were lovely, very pleasant. The breakfast room is huge and we enjoyed the breakfast too Negatives: it’s extremely dated and in some places it is actually shabby. The bed(s) were singles pulled together, not fastened, so they separated if you turned over during the night. The beds also had very ill fitting toppers on them which also moved. So much so that my wife fell...

"Externally the hotel does not look interesting but it has been renovated and is lovely inside especially the breakfast room. The bedroom was contemporary and very clean. The only downside was the shower as it wasn’t very powerful. Parking in front of the hotel was very easy and free. The breakfast was extremely good. Unfortunately the swimming

was closed. Short walk into town. "

"Very fine hotel to stay for a weekend and enjoy the fine dining and the spa and treatments. The room was spacious and the bathroom looked newly renovated. The wooden sauna could use an extensive clean up, but otherwise everything was perfect. We especially appreciated the personal service from the staff. "
