It's not often that you get such a perfect match with accommodation in the middle of the countryside and with a host couple who became like new friends. We give them the highest marks. "We really enjoyed our stay. We had a family room with separate bedrooms and bathrooms for the parents versus children. It is a traditional hotel and everyone was so friendly. There is secure parking up front. One can walk to the main place and shops easily. "

"Room with box bathroom in corner smelled damp, probably because regulation extraction fan in was not working and probably never had as string tied up as when fitted. The bed had a 6 cm foam mattress on a solid wood box base so very uncomfortable to sit on never mind sleep on, but still appeared to sag in middle. No reception, 2 flights of stairs and main door left open, so less than secure. Unsafe and unhealthy."

"Perfect location if arriving by train. We had a fantastic welcome and Sandra was very nice and clearly took pride in the property. The gite was spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. We walked to the old city with our 11 year old in about 25 minutes. The old city is magnificent! Having the cafe downstairs for breakfast was really easy. If we come back to Carcassonne we would hope this apartment was available."

"An outstanding kept and updated property. If you want to spend a few quiet days in an impeccable setting, this is the place! Isabelle owner and General manager was outstanding. Our beds were comfortable. AC was not result available but was still comfortable. They have done marvels with the restoration. Breakfast was locally produced, grown and prepared. Lovely! "
