Hotel Parkway
An old school travel hotel with a nice onsen. This was a great jumping off spot to see Lake Mashu observatory, drive down to Sunayu Onsen and dig your own onsen, etc. Staff were friendly, breakfast was traditional Japanese breakfast. Overall, nice and easy stay.

If you like a place in the middle of nowhere which can provide you privacy and natural environment, this is the place! It’ll take around 12-15mins driving from the nearest town for groceries and local restaurants. Wonderful place for real getaway.
